Description
A landscape professional needs a business card designed so he can hand them out to prospective clients. His name is Mike Weed, and his tagline is “The only weed you need in your yard.” He prefers green and black as a color scheme, and needs the back of the card to have space to write down appointment information.

I selected a retro modernist design aesthetic for its clean lines and whimsical geometric shapes. Lawn care isn't an eye catching subject in and of itself, and I wanted to evoke the benefit of having a great lawn: outdoor fun.
After trying a green and black color scheme, I transitioned to an all green palette. Green and black together looked dated and technological, like an old computer monitor, whereas all green was eye catching and topical.
